At Whiptail Cycles we believe your bike should always be in tip top
condition to give you the safest and greatest ride. In order to do this
without denting your pocket we’ve put together some great value service
packages that give you the quality and peace of mind you should expect from
us.

Standard Service £14.99
Degrease mechanisms and drive chain, reset and lubricate gears and cables.
Remove brake pads and buff surfaces to remove pinning and leave a matt
finish, clean rims and reset brakes lubricating cables and levers. Check and
tighten all nuts and bolts lubricate as necessary and inflate tyres to
required pressure.

Hydraulic Service £24.99
Degrease mechanisms and drive chain, reset and lubricate gears and cables.
Flush braking system with oil, replenish system with fully synthetic DOT 5.1
or mineral oil, bleed and reset, reposition callipers as necessary. Check
and tighten all nuts and bolts lubricate as necessary and inflate tyres to
required pressure.

Major Service £49.99
Strip cycle down to its frame, rebuild and clean. Strip hubs and re-grease
bearing, true and tension wheels. Re-grease all other bearings, complete
either Standard or Hydraulic Service.

Contact us to book your bike in, we also offer a collection and delivery
service if you can’t make it to our shop. Simply give us a call on
0191 257 2212 and we can arrange to collect your bike, service it and then return it.
There is a charge of £5 (0-3 miles from the shop) and £10 (3-6 miles from
the shop) then add £5 to every addition of 3 miles for the collection and
delivery service, we do limit to three bikes at a time.

All our services are plus parts, we can advise on any parts or components
you may require to complete services to a high standard when we see the
bike, we always give estimates before carrying out work.
